Did you know that public procurement system of Poland is based on the Act of Public Procurement Law . The Law was adopted on 29th January 2004 and has many further amendments.

Regulations on public procurement in Poland are compliant with European regulations. For instance the Act states that entities are obliged to award contracts according to the rules of fair competition and equal treatment of economic operators, impartiality and objectivity of persons preparing and conduction procedures specified in the Act.

Did you know that on May 16 – 17, 2013, the Public Procurement Office hosted a delegation from the Turkish Public Procurement Authority. The purpose of the visit was to share with Turkish guests information about the organizational structure and the role of the Polish Public Procurement Office as well as to make them familiar with the overall  functioning of the Polish public procurement system.  Such topics as legal protection measures and review system, e-Procurement as well as wide array of issues related to analysis and monitoring of public procurement market in Poland were also covered and thoroughly discussed during the two-day study visit.
